How much can you miss people before it gets annoying to talk about? 

I've only been away from my friends and family for only about a week and every other conversation seems to be about how I miss everyone! I know it's not bad to miss people but I am waiting for the time when my excitement for the months ahead exceeds my FOMO about what is going on without me. 

Since I got to Arkansas, I've been able to catch up with friends I haven't seen in about 2 years. It's always nice visiting people that can jump into conversations with me like I never left, it takes off the pressure of having to make small talk before being comfortable again. 

However, I am so freaking excited to begin this journey! I still have a few more days here in Arkansas and I definitely need to lighten my pack. my pack is supposed to be 40lbs or less, mine is 58LBS! So please pray that I am able to take out almost 20lbs of stuff. 

One thing I've learned since we left -although not crazy life-changing- is that I am amazing at navigating through an airport in a hurry. There was some confusion with one of my gates which made my 3-hour layover into a 6-hour layover!

All in all, I am completely stoked about everything coming up, so if anyone asks how I'm doing. you can tell them that I am doing fanfrickentabulous* or you can just tell them I'm doing great but I miss them a lot.
