We are so close to the end of the year!
It’s hard to believe I’ve been in Cambodia for 6 weeks already. I don’t have any crazy miracle stories to share yet, however, I know that there are small miracles in the day to day.
At school I have been leading a dance club after school. I am so proud of the kids in the club and how much they accomplish after each hour. The joy on their faces after they master a part of our dance is so radiant and beautiful.
A majority of the kids at this school have parents who are already established missionaries here in Cambodia. It’s such a blessing to know that we are giving these kids and safe and fun place to learn while their parents continue their ministry.
I love working with kids and at this school. I love waking up and knowing who I get to spend my whole day with. I love getting to be a blessing to these kids and parents and teachers. I know this is exactly where God wants me right now.
Giving tuesday is tomorrow (11/29), i would like to challenge you to consider giving an extra gift toward my World Race trip. I only need $1,900 to be fully funded by New Year’s eve!
As a little fun incentive, if I am fully funded by the end of the year, I along with some of my teammates will eat crickets from the market or do a blindfolded food eating challenge with foods of your choice, or I’ll drink an entire 1.5 liter bottle of soda, which may not seem crazy but I hate carbo drinks so it would definitely be a challenge.
With your help I’ll be able to continue to do ministry in South Africa and Guatemala without having to worry about whether or not I meet fundraising deadlines.
