We’re in cambodia!

We made it safely here! Praise the Lord!

We arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 10/17 and spent 3 days being tourists. We met some kids selling bracelets and coin purses and we hung out with them whenever they came around. Everyday that we were there Nita and Dooy would come by our hostel and say good morning to us and give us hugs.

Our second day in Phnom Penh, a group of us went to S-21 and the killing fields to learn more about the history of cambodia and who we get to love on while we are here. Going to those two places was one of the hardest things I’ve ever seen, done, and learned about. I’ll write a separate post about my experience.

On our third day, I went to a cat cafe, had some really delicious Pho, and had a small worship session in front of the Phnom Penh Royal Palace with two of my squad mates.

On Thursday (10/20) our squad hopped on a bus for a 6 hour ride to Siem Reap. I got to use a squatty potty, and I watched Footloose for the first time with one of my squad mates.

Yesterday, my team and I went to Hope international school where we will be doing ministry for the next two months for a tour of the place and for some training. At Hope, we will be helping out in classrooms during school and after school we will be leading some clubs!  If you guys have any ideas for a club I should facilitate comment below!

Thank you for continually praying for me!

Love ya!
